Nicki Minaj spread some sunshine during her first visit to “The View” on Monday morning. Wearing a blonde wig and pink captain’s hat, the newest “American Idol” judge took a seat alongside the ladies and Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas to chat about her “cooky” style, meeting Lil Wayne, her “Pink Friday” perfume, joining Mariah Carey on the “Idol” panel, and her advice to her Barbz.
“I like to be in control of everything. It might be kind of a disorder I have,” said Nicki.
Her glam squad also helped make over a “View” intern and super fan named Sade, who rocked a pink wig and tutu like her idol.

Nicki Minaj and country crooner Keith Urban will join Mariah Carey at the “American Idol” judge panel in January, while veteran judge Randy Jackson has been spared the axe and will be back as well, Fox announced Sunday, confirming weeks of speculation.

Nicki Minaj brings all “The Boys” to the yard on the first single off Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up, the re-release of her sophomore album. Cassie, who was the “real pretty” surprise guest that Nicki previously hinted about, lends her sultry vocals to the hook.
The sexy ladies work their charm on the fellas, making them spend all their money on love. The self-proclaimed “punchline queen” delivers her witty wordplay over the marching beat. “You mad dusty/ You a lil’ dusty possum/ I come through with the Six like my name was Blossom,” raps Nicki.
Due in November, The Re-Up will feature 5-8 new tracks including a collaboration with Lil Wayne.
With his single ‘Pop That’ being one of the hottest songs this summer, French Montana wants to keep the momentum going with his second single. He revealed to MTV that his next single will feature Nicki Minaj. No word on title or release date yet but he said “its something for the clubs”. “Excuse My French” drops in December.

All ze wild things at the STATUS Worn to be Wild release party last night got an exclusive sneak peek of our cover featuring the fieriest beauty with the fiercest beats. The female Weezy’s cover wowed the incoming crowd with second skin purple leotards, lace stockings, and hot plum evening gloves, but none of those threads would have made an impact if Nicki Minaj wasn’t the one draped in them. Style is nothing without attitude, and Miss Onika knows all about talking the walk and strutting the talk. Read the full story in the mag and check out what STATUS’ rap-connoisseur-in-residence, DizzyRizzy, picked from the supreme Queen of the hip-hop charts.
Oh, and in case you didn’t notice, this issue’s art is Nicki by Nikkie… Nikkie Po, that is. Cheers to our former Art Director. You sure know how to dress a cover up, don’t you?
